Philosophy

At Veil & Vers, every order begins as a reservation - not a warehouse dispatch.
Your garment doesn’t exist until you choose it. From that moment, it’s cut, stitched, inspected, and finished for you alone.
Because every piece is made-to-order, our shipping timelines are deliberate, not delayed.

1. Order Creation & Dispatch Timeline

  • Each piece is crafted after reservation.
  • The average production time is 21 days from the date of confirmed payment or deposit.
  • Once your garment passes final inspection, it is securely packed and handed to our official delivery partner, XpressBees, for shipping.
  • You’ll receive an email and SMS/WhatsApp update with tracking details as soon as your order leaves our studio.

2. Shipping Partner

All domestic orders are shipped through XpressBees, our trusted logistics partner known for fast and secure delivery.
Each parcel is fully insured until delivered to your address.

International deliveries, when applicable, are managed through DHL Express or FedEx Priority.

3. Shipping Fees

  • India: Complimentary on all prepaid and reserved orders.
  • International: Shipping cost calculated at checkout; customs duties or import taxes are payable by the receiver.

4. Tracking & Notifications

Once dispatched, you will receive:

  • A tracking link via email and WhatsApp/SMS from Veil & Vers or XpressBees.
  • Status updates: Picked Up → In Transit → Out for Delivery → Delivered.
    You may also log in to your Veil & Vers Account → Orders → Track at any time.

5. Missed Deliveries

If XpressBees fails to deliver due to incorrect address or repeated non-availability, the shipment will return to our studio.
Reshipping can be arranged once the correct address and new shipping fee (if applicable) are confirmed.

6. Cancellation Policy

Before Production

  • Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of reservation confirmation if crafting hasn’t started.
  • To cancel, email orders@veilandvers.com with your Order ID and reason.
  • Once cancellation is approved, we’ll issue a Veil & Vers Credit Note equal to your deposit value, valid for 6 months.

After Production Begins

  • Once cutting or crafting starts, the order cannot be cancelled.
  • As every piece is custom-created, materials and labor are allocated immediately after reservation.

Pre-Orders & Limited Drops

  • All pre-orders and limited drops are final once reserved — no cancellations or refunds permitted.

7. Delays & Force Majeure

While we adhere strictly to timelines, unforeseen situations (fabric delays, courier disruptions, natural events) may cause delays.
In such cases, you will be informed immediately via email/SMS and offered either:

  • A new estimated delivery date, or
  • A Veil & Vers Credit Note (if the delay exceeds 45 days).

8. Address Change

Shipping addresses can be updated within 24 hours of placing the order by emailing support@veilandvers.com.
After production begins, address changes may not be possible.

9. Lost or Damaged Shipments

All shipments are insured until they reach you.
If a shipment is lost or damaged during transit, Veil & Vers will work with XpressBees to investigate.
After verification, we will re-craft the item or issue store credit equal to its value.

10. Governing Law

All shipping and cancellations are governed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, and applicable Indian e-commerce regulations.
Disputes, if any, shall follow the Veil & Vers Dispute Resolution Policy (arbitration in Bangalore, Karnataka).

We don’t ship fast - we ship finished.
